The book gathers five routes through old urban neighborhoods of Athens, proposing experiential walks street by street.

In this book, I have attempted to provide inspiration for a deeper understanding of the city and opportunities for further exploration. On every walk I take in Athens, in any neighborhood or district, I will discover something I didn't know before, something that will move me, something that will confirm what I believed or challenge a certainty of mine. Urban wandering is primarily a process of self-discovery. It requires solitary hours and internal monologues. The Patission area, with all its different facets, is an excellent starting point for exploring the complexity and timeless charm of Athens.
