Nurit Iskar, a former successful crime novelist on the verge of a midlife crisis, undertakes to cover for a newspaper the investigation into the murder of a wealthy businessman in one of the most expensive private suburbs of Buenos Aires. Together with the young crime reporter, veteran Jaime Brenna, and under the supervision of the newspaper's director and her former lover, Nurit will discover a murderous pyramid that is still being built, she will contemplate death and love, she will look at the passage of time on her, she will question herself and every kind of authority around her, she will wonder about the meaning of truth and about "the way that everyday life, the everyday, even the banal, is mixed with crime in a blend that removes the drama of horror and makes the everyday terrifying."
