Pandora

I longed to create a heroine of the 21st century.
A young woman who does not fit into stereotypes, who does not fulfill hopes, who does not confirm fears. To live day by day, enjoying her contradictions, suffering because of them. To cut and cut herself, sometimes sober, sometimes drunk. To go in and out of parallel worlds without getting comfortable, without resting in any of them. To sometimes tremble at the future, sometimes feel it in her hand, to long to squeeze it and suck it, to leave nothing that she does not try, that she does not taste...
To behave out of ignorance of danger. And to fall in love, madly, with full knowledge of it.
A girl in her prime, shaped in the most fluid environment, bombarded from the cradle with information, theories, experiences, everything she confirms is immediately refuted. A girl so different and yet so similar at her core to "Maria Nefeli" by Odysseas Elytis, but also to "The Strange Girl" by Manolis Chiotis.
