In the era of the British Regency, Mrs. Bennet is tasked with raising her five daughters. Her sole ambition is to secure them a "good" marriage, something that seems impossible as they do not belong to the upper social class and their house in Hertfordshire effectively does not belong to them.
Jane, Lizzy, Mary, Kitty, and the youngest, Lydia, are aware of their family's situation, but at the same time, they also have dreams: they want to spread their own wings and not follow their mother's plans.
When the wealthy – and single – Mr. Bingley arrives in their area to spend the summer at a nearby estate, Mrs. Bennet begins frantically making plans. Especially since he is accompanied by his good friend and also single Mr. Darcy.
Shy and beautiful Jane soon falls in love with Mr. Bingley, while Lizzy finds Mr. Darcy to be a snobbish, proud man whom she vows to hate forever.
But how long does "forever" last?
