I helped him, initially with questions, assumptions and a soft voice. With surgical movements, as carefully as when you go to touch a half-open shell, which closes as soon as you approach it, I wanted to approach him, to learn his story. I knew that at any moment I could lose him. This is always one of the basics that we work on in psychotherapy. To soften our defenses, to understand that bending is not weakness, but strength.

Fragments and paths that have met in the therapeutic room have come together and composed these paths, with the sole purpose of the one who reads them to meet himself, his neighbor, his child or parent, the one he chose to walk with and the one he left behind but carries within him.
You often find yourself looking for who is to blame, the critical mom, the distant dad, the inconsistent ex, the resigned current... Don't do it. We are not looking for someone to blame. We want to understand, because understanding is the first step towards redemption.
