The castle

An armed man breaks into a department store in the Marienberg area one morning, killing anyone who had the misfortune to come across him, and then disappears. The Örebro Police launch a manhunt to find him and, indeed, after a few days they find him. Dead. The case is closed and everyone returns to their normal lives – all except one.

Inspector Anders Economides' life has been turned upside down. After a fit of rage, his career takes a nosedive and his family falls apart. His obsessions haunt him, but they are his only hope to solve the case and at the same time save his family from an unseen danger.
