Lost in Naples

Hedy is an American linguistics student studying in Naples and living in the Spanish Quarter. Life in the old apartment buildings is cheap and people live in dilapidated buildings that seem to be glued together; tall buildings, with views of the sky and Vesuvius, with balconies and terraces where students spend their time gazing at Naples, smoking and chatting.

Pietro is a geology student, the son of a rural family tied to the land by a primitive, unbreakable bond. Although his village is only a hundred kilometers away, Pietro feels as much of a stranger in Naples as Hedi.

The Lost in Naples is a double love story: for the city and for a young man. Two young people stand against the world, ready to open themselves to every experience, to enjoy every joy, to be exposed to every wound.
